When we log-in to our Hotmail account, we can easily see our newest mail in the Inbox, but the thing is that to actually read them we must click on each mail to make a new page load. This is not such a loss of time if we’re used to a small amount of mails per day, but if we use the Hotmail account for work, we may end up losing lot of precious time we can use to see other mails. Fortunately, Hotmail has many options that can make our life easier.
But if you’re thinking it’ll give a speed boost to your computer, you’re more than wrong, Hotmail may have great tools, but just will work on the website, not the whole computer. One of the best thing it has now is that you can see a preview of every mail by just clicking at them, but to do this you must first activate this option, which is not hard at all and will save lot of time, since loading a preview of a mail in your current browser is way faster than make a new page load. To activate this option you must first log-in to your Hotmail account and head to your inbox once you’ve successfully logged-in.
Now look for the “Option” link in the right-top of your mail list, and click on it. This will cause a menu to pop-up, and now you can see many options, but the most important is the “Reading pane setting”, and the three options below it. The first option will case the reading pane not to show, the second option will cause it to appear at the rightside of the mail, and the last option will cause it to appear downside of the selected mail. Just click the one you first most comfortable with and the change will be done. If you don’t want it, you can just click in “Off” and it won’t appear at all.
But the thing is that this option is so fun to use and so useful that you most likely won’t want to turn it off, plus, it’ll save a lot of your time.
